The petitioner-Gaurav Rajendra Jadhav is seeking a direction to the Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Satara to take a final decision on the proposal dated 21st April 2025 forwarded by Sanjeevani Shikshan Sanstha-respondent no.6 and Shiv Chhatrapati Vidyalaya-respondent no.7. The petitioner is also seeking a direction to the Deputy Director of Education, Kolhapur Region to allot Shalarth ID to him and to include his name in the Shalarth Pranali for facilitating online payment of salary. 2.

The petitioner claims that he passed HSC and also completed MS-CIT examination which is the necessary qualification required to be appointed as clerk. In the present case, the petitioner claims appointment on compassionate ground as his father was working as Junior Clerk at respondent no.7-school from 1st July 1991 and he died in harness. Upon receipt of the petitioner's application, the managing committee appointed the petitioner in the post of Junior 1/2

Rameshwar Dilwale 912-WP-10242-25.doc Clerk at respondent no.7-school under 'Shikshan Sevak Scheme' from 1st March 2025. Pursuant to his appointment, the Headmaster of respondent no.7-school has submitted the proposal seeking approval for the appointment of petitioner on compassionate ground alongwith all the relevant documents. Thereafter, the Headmaster of the Shiv Chhatrapati Vidyalaya and the petitioner made request to the respondents to take a decision on the proposal. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the proposal dated 21st April 2025 forwarded by the Headmaster of Shiv Chhatrapati Vidyalaya is pending consideration before the Education Officer (Secondary) and no decision has been taken thereon.

In the background of the aforementioned factual position, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Education Officer (Secondary) to take a decision on the proposal dated 21st April 2025 within a period of six weeks.

Writ Petition No.10242 of 2025 is disposed of with aforesaid direction to the Education Officer (Secondary)-respondent no.5. [MANJUSHA DESHPANDE, J.] [SHREE CHANDRASHEKHAR, J. ] 2/2
