The Petitioner seeks quashing and setting aside of the Seizure Notice dated 16th May 2025 issued by the Respondent No. 2Assistant Police Inspector, Kurla Traffic Control Branch, Mumbai 1/3
whereby the Petitioner's vehicle being a Motor Cab bearing registration no. MH-15-FV-2000 was detained by the Respondent No. 2, on account of failure of the Petitioner to comply with the directions of this Court in the order dated 3rd March 2004 passed in Notice of Motion No. 57 of 2004 in Writ Petition No. 1762 of 1999. The Petitioner also seeks direction to the Respondent No. 2 to release the said detained vehicle.

Mr. Ramchandra Wagh, learned counsel for the Petitioner makes a statement that, the Petitioner is ready and willing to comply with all the terms and conditions as set out in the said order passed by this Court as also as referred in the order passed in Writ Petition (L) No. 10853 of 2024 dated 5th April 2024 and order passed in Writ Petition No. 18034 of 2024 dated 05th February 2025. Mr. Wagh, on instructions of the Petitioner, undertakes to deposit an amount of Rs. 11,500/- towards settlement of E-challans issued by the Competent Transport Authority within a period of two weeks from today. He also undertakes to deposit an amount of Rs.5,000/- with the Regional Transport Office at Mumbai towards costs within a period of two weeks from today. We accept the statement as an undertaking to this 2/3
Court.

The Petitioner also undertakes not to ply the said vehicle within the limits of Greater Mumbai.

Upon the deposit of the amounts of E-challan and payment of costs as aforesaid, the Respondents are directed to release the Petitioner's vehicle forthwith.

The Petition stands disposed off in the above terms. 6.
