The petitioners have pleaded that, they made the first application to the Scrutiny Committee on 28th May 2024 which was followed by similar applications made on 9th October 2024, 2nd December 2024, 17th January, 2025, 11th March 2025, 13th May 2025 and 2nd June 2025. Notwithstanding such applications made to the Scrutiny Committee, the Caste Certificate was not issued to the petitioner no.1 and, therefore, they approached this court by filing the present writ petition on 7th July 2025. 2.

Mr. C.K. Bhangoji, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners has tendered photocopies of the merit list and the college allocation letter issued in favour of the petitioner no.1 dated 31st July 2025. The petitioner no.1 who made into the select list has been allocated Audyogik Shikshan Mandals Institute of Professional Studies, Pimpri Waghere, Pune. 3.

Taken on record.

Having regard to the inordinate delay caused in taking a decision on the applications moved by the petitioners, and considering the fact that 1/2 Kartikeya Goti

31-WP-10428-2025.doc the petitioner no. 1 has been able to establish his merit and got admission in Audyogik Shikshan Mandals Institute of Professional Studies, Pimpri Waghere, Pune, we hereby issue a direction to the newly added respondent nos. 3 and 4 to keep one seat vacant in the ST category for the petitioner no.1 for the next three weeks.

The corrections be carried out in the memo of the parties in the course of the day.

Issue notice to the newly added respondent nos.3 and 4. 7.

Humdast granted.

We also issue a direction to the Scrutiny Committee to decide the application moved by the petitioners by 8th August 2025. The decision so taken shall be duly communicated to the petitioners through usual mode as well as the electronic mode.

Post the matter on 18th August 2025.

The learned State counsel shall communicate the decision of this Court to the concerned authorities.
