Ms.Priyanka Chavan, the learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the Education Officer (Primary), Zilla Parishad, Solapur, who is the respondent no.4.

This writ petition has been filed by four Assistant Teachers who have a grievance with respect to non-payment of salary with effect from 15th March 2022.

The learned counsel for the petitioners refers to Exhibit H at page no.43 of the paper book which according to him is the order of approval granted on 26th April 2022 in relation to the present petitioners. He submits that the proposal dated 24th March 2025 for sanction of four posts is still pending with the respondent no.4-the Education Officer (Primary) Zilla Parishad at Solapur and no decision has been taken by the said authority. The learned counsel for the petitioners therefore submits that this writ petition may be disposed of with a direction to the Education Officer (Primary)-respondent no.4 to decide the proposal dated 24th March 2025 submitted by the Headmaster of the Navin Rajeshri Aher

Having regard to sanction of four posts in the Navin Marathi Primary School, Panchasheel Nagar, Vairag, Barshi, District-Solapur, we direct the respondent no.4 to decide the proposal dated 24th March 2025 forwarded by the Headmaster of the said school within a period of four weeks from today. However, we would clarify that the respondent no.4 shall examine whether or not the petitioners are included within the sanctioned posts in relation to which the order dated 26th April 2022 was issued.
