Heard learned counsel for the parties.

Our attention is invited to the order dated 20th April 2022 passed by this Court. Accordingly, this Court observed that Petitioner, if eligible, may make an application, if some alternate land is available. It is further observed that in case some other land is available and the Petitioner makes an application to that effect, the authority concerned shall consider the application of the Petitioner in tune with the policy on its own merits. 18.wp.10522-2025.doc that if such application is made, same shall be decided expeditiously.

Accordingly, an application dated 6th September 2022 was made by the Petitioner to the Collector, Kolhapur, District Kolhapur. Learned AGP informs that the Collector, Kolhapur has forwarded the said proposal to the Principal Secretary, Revenue and Forest Department and the same is pending consideration. On instructions, learned AGP submits that the said proposal will be decided by the Principal Secretary, Revenue and Forest Department in terms of the order passed by this Court dated 20th April 2022 within a period of six months from today on its own merits and in accordance with law. Statement accepted. 4.
In view of the statement made, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
