These petitions have been circulated in the light of certain incidents that occurred over the past couple of days concerning the institution with which the petitioners are

(( 2 )) 946-WP-10771-2025 associated. We are informed that the connected writ petitions are scheduled to be taken up on 19.09.2025 (Friday). 3.

The learned counsel for the petitioners in these petitions has tendered an additional affidavit to place on record the recent incidents that have taken place over the past couple of days. 4.

We are informed that the entire college premises i.e. with the institution where the petitioners are employed, has been locked, and that the employees and the students are currently locked out. As a result, the functioning of the institution has come to a grinding halt. It is alleged that this action has been undertaken by the respondent Secretary and President of the Management themselves, i.e., the Kohinoor Education Society. Therefore, it is requested that this Court urgently take up the Petitions for hearing, so that appropriate interim reliefs may be sought.

We are further informed that the Respondent Joint Director of Higher Education as well as the Registrar of the Respondent Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, have taken up the issue. The site was visited and today a meeting was to be held with regard to the said controversy.

The petitioners are permitted to place on record the additional affidavit, which is tendered across the Bar, by 18.09.2025. The petitioners may also file appropriate civil applications in the light of the aforesaid incidents for seeking specific directions/interim reliefs from this Court.

The respondent Joint Director of Higher Education as well as the Registrar of the respondent university, are directed to inform this Court on the next date as to what steps have been taken on their part in the light of the said incidents. 8.

Respondent Nos. 4 and 5 are represented by counsel who have joined the proceedings through video conferencing. They are seeking time to file counter affidavits / reply affidavits in the writ petitions. They are free to do so before the next date of listing. 9.

Considering the emergent situation created by the aforesaid incidents, list these petitions along with Writ Petition Nos.10790, 10834 and 10802 of 2025, on Friday i.e. 19.09.2025, to be included in the 'urgent orders' category.
