At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners informs this Court that in petitions concerning identically situated employees of the Zilla Parishad Schools, this Court at the Principal Seat as well as the Nagpur Bench has granted interim relief of status quo while issuing notice in the respective petitions. The principal contention raised on behalf of the petitioners is that they are entitled to be retained at their present posting as they have yet not completed period of five years. Reliance is placed on specific clause in the transfer policy.

We find that in Writ Petition No.8028 of 2025, by order dated 20th June 2025, Division Bench at the Principal Seat of this Court has granted order of status quo in favour of identically situated persons and that such interim orders have also been passed in pending writ petitions before the Nagpur Bench of this Court. 4.
In view of the above, issue notice to the respondents, returnable on 07th October 2025.

Learned AGPs waive notice on behalf of the respondent - State Authorities.

Humdast granted for respondent Nos.3 and 4.

In the meanwhile, until the next date of hearing, status quo as on today shall be maintained in respect of transfer of the petitioners.
