Mr. Kalel, learned AGP points out the letter dated 20th May 2024 annexed to the aidavit-in-reply of Education Oicer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Ratnagiri (page 99-100). By the said letter, proposal for grant of individual approval to the appointment of Petitioner No.1 has been rejected. Mr. Mane, learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioners states that neither the copy of said aidavit-in-reply has been served on him nor the letter / order dated 20th May 2024 has been served on the Petitioners.

Mr. Kalel, learned AGP fairly submits that copy of the aidavit-inreply inadvertently remained to be served on learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner.

As the Petitioners have come to know about the order dated 20th May 2024 today, i.e., on 10th April 2026, learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioners seeks withdrawal of writ petition with liberty to adopt appropriate proceedings to challenge the said order dated 20th May 2024.

Accordingly, writ petition is allowed to be withdrawn with liberty as prayed for. It is clariied that this Court has not considered merits with respect to the said order / letter dated 20th May 2024. All contentions in that regard are expressly kept open. 5.

Writ petition stands disposed of.
