We are of the opinion that learned counsel for the petitioner, who is appointed through legal aid, should do further research in the matter and inform this Court, on issues as to in what manner the petitioner has triggered the procedure for grant of Persons with Disability Certificate; which is the authority to which such application, if at all, has been made and what is the present status of the said application. The learned counsel for the petitioner shall also place before this court on the next date of listing, the guidelines issued for the purpose of assessing the extent of specified disability of persons in terms of section 56 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. 3.

Learned AGP is also requested to assist the learned counsel for the petitioner in the aforesaid matter.
