After having dealt with more than 20 matters, we have formed a prima facie opinion that there is inordinate delay in disposing of the petitions before the Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee.

Liberty is granted to serve a copy of this order upon the office of the Scheduled Tribe Scrutiny Committee (hereinafter referred to as "the Committee" for short). Before the next date of hearing, the Joint Commissioner of Schedule Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee shall file an affidavit giving details of the petitions pending before the Committee in a tabular form indicating the stage of hearing in each petitions.

Mr.Siddheshwar Kalel, the AGP for the respondent-State has brought to our notice an order passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in case of "Dilip Vitthal Bambale & Ors. Vs. Vinitkumar Motiram Totlod & Ors." (In Civil Appeal Nos.11234-48 of 2017 arising out of SLP(C) No.20210-2024 of 2017) 4.

However, the Management of Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Fine Arts, Pune-Satara Road, Pune-respondent no.4 shall take note of pendency of this writ petition in this Court and shall not take any adverse decision.
