The petitioner challenged the report under Section 83 of Maharashtra Co-operative Housing Societies Act (MCS), 1960 by filing appeal, which was thereby converted into revision. However, the revisional authority refused to condone the delay in filing the revision application.

However, the report under section 83 of MCS Act, not being a quasi-judicial order, the revision itself was not maintainable. 3.

Hence, in my opinion, the appropriate remedy for the petitioner is to approach this Court.

All questions raised by the petitioner on merits are kept open to be agitated in appropriate proceedings.

The present petition stands disposed of.
