Mr Yadav, learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner submits that the society has disconnected the water supply and electricity supply to the tenement of his client. Hence, this Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction upon the society. However, it is settled law that a Writ of Mandamus in a private dispute would not lie against a private entity. Therefore, by directing the Petitioner to seek legal remedy before the appropriate forum, this Writ Petition stands closed.
