The grievance of the Petitioner that Appeal No..... of 2022 (yet to be numbered) filed on 5th May, 2022 before the Respondent No. 3 be decided expeditiously. We have gone through the averments made in the Petition and heard learned Counsel for the parties. We find the request made by the Petitioner to be reasonable as by now the Appeal filed before the Respondent No. 3 should have been decided. We therefore direct the Shubham Talle 1 of

4-Wp-11060-2025.doc Respondent No. 3 to decide the Appeal as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.

It is open for the Petitioner to file an appropriate application for grant of interim relief before the Respondent No. 3 which may be considered on its own merits. We have not made any observations on the merits of the Appeal though as per learned Counsel for the Petitioner the controversy involved in this Petition is covered by the decision of this Court dated 20th July, 2020 passed in Dilip J Bhatia vs. The Commissioner of Police, Thane in Writ Petition No. 7271 of 1999. These are aspects the Petitioner may bring to notice of the Respondent No. 3 for its consideration. Appeal be decided on its own merits and in accordance with law.
