This Court by an Order dated 10th July 2025 recorded the statement of the learned A.G.P. on instructions that the Petitioner's Application dated 8th January 2024 will be decided expeditiously and in any event, within a period of four weeks from 10th July 2025. 2.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner states that despite the expiry of four weeks on 9th August 2025, the Petitioner's Application / proposal dated 8th January 2024 for grant of Caste Validity Certificate as belonging to Thakar Tribe, which is notified as Scheduled Tribe, is not yet decided. That, the Petitioner was granted admission to the Engineering course and osk 1 of

902-Wp-11088-2025.doc the last date for submitting the Caste Validity Certificate is 4th September 2025. It is not the case of the Respondents that the delay is at the instance of the Petitioner.

Learned A.G.P. expressed regret that the Application / proposal of the Petitioner could not be decided due to unforeseen circumstances. It is submitted that in any case the Application / proposal of the Petitioner will be decided by 29th August 2025.

We make it clear that the Application for grant of Caste Validity of the Petitioner be positively decided within extended time till 2nd September 2025 and the decision be handed over to the Petitioner. 5.

Considering that the Petitioner has been admitted to the Engineering course, we direct the Respondent No.3 not to cancel the admission of the Petitioner for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Course for the academic year 2025-2026, for want of Caste Validity Certificate, till the decision on the Application by the Caste Scrutiny Committee and for further period of two weeks from the date of the decision, if order passed by the Caste Scrutiny Committee is adverse to the interest of the Petitioner.
