The petitioners herein have challenged transfer orders dated 21.08.2025.

It is submitted that the petitioners are entitled to couple convenience and that the transfer orders can be treated to be mid-term transfer orders, as clause 5.6 of the said Government Resolution specifies that ordinarily the transfers are to be undertaken between 1st May to 31st May of each year.

It is further submitted that in similar cases, this Court has issued notice and in some of the matters, even ad-interim relief is granted.

In view of above, issue notice, returnable on 03.10.2025. Learned AGP waives notice on behalf of respondent nos. 1 and 2. 6.

A specific statement is made on behalf of the petitioners that till date, they have not yet been relieved from their posts. 7.

Hence, till the next date of listing, status-quo as of today, shall be maintained. .

Respondents shall file their reply affidavits, before the next date of hearing.
