The Petitioner seeks a direction to Respondent No.2 - The Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Pune Division, Pune to decide Tribe Claim of the Petitioner which is pending with the Committee since 22nd May, 2023 within a stipulated period. Having heard learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the learned A.G.P, we direct Respondent No.2 to decide the Tribe Claim of the Petitioner within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of communication of this order. 5.
Till Tribe Claim of the Petitioner is decided, Respondent No.3 - The Superintendent of Post Office, Pandharpur Division, District Solapur is directed not to take any coercive steps against the Petitioner for non submission of Certificate of Validity. Respondent No.3 is further directed to allow the Petitioner to continue to work as "Gramin Dak Sevak Branch Postmaster" as we do not find fault on the part of the Petitioner to delay the proceedings before Respondent No.2.
