Heard Mr. Shinde, learned counsel for the Petitioners, Ms. Kapre, learned A.G.P. for the Respondents Nos.1 & 2-State and Mr. Deokar, learned counsel for Respondent Nos.3 & 4-Zilla Parishad, Sindhudurg. 2.
The Petitioners seek direction to the Respondent No.3 - the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Sindhudurg to consider and decide the claim / representations of the Petitioners requesting to give posting to the Petitioners within the radius of 30 kms. from the working place of his 1 of
spouse under the head of Couple Convenience Policy. 3.
Learned counsel for the Petitioners invited our attention to the Order dated 2nd September 2025 passed by this Court in Writ Petition (St.) No.29518 of 2025 & other connected Writ Petitions, which is at page 48 to the Petition.

For the same reasons as in the Order dated 2nd September 2025 passed by this Court in Writ Petition (St.) No.29518 of 2025, we direct the Respondent No.3 - the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Sindhudurg to consider and decide the claim / representation dated 22nd August 2025 of the Petitioners, which is at page 46 to the Petition, within a period of 7 days from today.

Learned counsel appearing for the Respondent Nos.3 & 4-Zilla Parishad is directed to inform the Respondent No.3 - the Chief Executive Officer, of the present Order.

The Respondent No.3 - the Chief Executive Officer while deciding the said representation to consider the procedure for transfer mentioned to be followed in the Government Resolution dated 18th June 2024 and ensure to follow the Couple Convenience Policy. 7.
Needless to state that until such a decision is taken, the Petitioners would not be relieved, since a statement is made in the Petition that the Petitioners are yet to be relieved.

In the event, the Petitioners are not liable to be transferred, they can make an additional representation to the Respondent No.3 - the Chief Executive Officer and in turn the said Authority shall decide such a representation.
