1.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that they are aggrieved by the fact that due to the pendency of the Original Application ('OA', for short) before the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal ('the Tribunal', for short), the selection process pursuant to the Advertisement No. 24 of 2022 for the post of 'Administrative Officer' Group B, Public Health Department is held up by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission ('MPSC', for short). The petitioners are the selected candidates. The candidates who did not find place in the select list
Ingale 902-wp-11288-25.odt have challenged the selection process before the Tribunal on various grounds. The petitioners are not parties before the Tribunal. They have directly approached this Court by way of the present writ petition for expediting the proceedings before the Tribunal.
2.
It is always open for the petitioners to approach the Tribunal by filing appropriate application for seeking reliefs as sought for in the present petition which application, if made, shall obviously be considered on its own merits in accordance with law. 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that as there is no stay granted by the Tribunal in the OA, there is no necessity for MPSC to stall the process of selection. These are the submissions which can be canvassed by the petitioners before the Tribunal in case any application is preferred. 4.
With liberty to the petitioners to approach the Tribunal for appropriate reliefs in the pending original application/s and keeping all contentions open as raised in this writ petition, this writ petition is disposed of.
