We have perused prayer clause (a) of the Petition wherein it is prayed that the representations made to the Authorities pursuant to the order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court dated 21st May, 2025 passed in Civil Appeal No.9982 of 2024, be decided. Both the representations are preferred on 27th May, 2025 and 12th June, 2025.

The learned AGP submits, on instructions, that the Petitioner has been informed by a letter dated 9th September, 2025, that her representation has been disposed off. It is further submitted Gauri Gaekwad

905.WP-11368-2025.odt that if the Selection Committee recommends her name to the State Government for reappointment, the same will be considered. A photostat copy of the said communication is taken on record and marked as ' X ' for identification.

In view of the above, we leave it to the Petitioner to either, await the decision of the Selection Committee, and if her name is not recommended by the Committee for reappointment, a legal remedy as is available to the Petitioner is kept open, or challenge the order 'X' at this stage. All contentions are kept open. 4.
