The Petitioner has challenged the impugned transfer order dated 21.08.2025. At the outset, it is brought to our notice that in petitions raising similar issues, this Court has issued notice and in some cases where the Petitioners were yet to be relieved from their posts, interim direction of status quo was also granted.

The learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the impugned transfer order violate the transfer policy as per Government Resolution (GR) dated 18.06.2024. It is claimed that clauses 1.9 and 5.6 of the said GR have been violated. It is submitted that the Petitioner is entitled to "couple convenience" under clause 1.9 and the transfer order

( 2 ) 971 wp 11453.25 can be said to be mid term transfer violating clause 5.6 of the said GR, which specifies that ordinarily the transfers should be undertaken between 1st May and 31st May of each year. No special reasons have been recorded while issuing the impugned transfer order in mid term. 3.

A specific statement is made on behalf of the Petitioner that till date she has not been relieved from her present posting. 4.

Issue notice to the Respondents, returnable on 04.10.2025. The learned AGP waives notice on behalf of Respondent Nos.1 and 2. 5.

Till the next date of listing, status quo as on today shall be maintained.
