1.

We have passed a detailed order in this writ petition on 11 September 2025. In pursuance of the said order, the admitted amount payable to the Petitioner is required to be disbursed to the Petitioner. Today we have perused Interim Application Stamp No. 31986 of 2025 filed on behalf of the Sub-Divisional Officer, Thane praying for extension of time of 10 weeks to comply with the order dated 11 September 2025 and for waiving interest of 6.5% from the date of deposit of the amount.

2.

We have heard learned counsel for the parties on this interim application. However considering our detailed order dated 11 September 2025, in peculiar facts Ingale

10-WP-11610-25.DOC of the present case, we are not inclined to grant a longer time of 10 weeks for disbursement. We are also not inclined to consider the prayer that 6.5% interest from the date of deposit of the amount be waived. Admittedly, the Petitioner was deprived of the said amount, hence, the interest amount will required to be paid as ordered by this Court.

3.

In this view of the matter, we are granting a final chance to the Respondents to comply with the order dated 11 September 2025 within a period of 6 weeks from today along with interest as ordered at 6.5% per annum from the date of deposit of the amount. It is made clear that no further extension shall be granted. 4.

Needless to observe that in the event the amounts are not received as ordered, the same shall be considered to be non-compliance of the order passed by this Court. Appropriate orders in that record will required to be passed. 5.

The details of the account are already furnished to the learned AGP which are to be furnished to the Officer also who is present in the Court. 6.

In this view of the matter considering our detailed order dated 11 September 2025, we dispose of this petition keeping all contentions open. The interim application also stands disposed of.
