Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Counsel appearing for the respective respondents. 2.

By this petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent No.1 to forthwith release and disburse the amount of 1/3

Rs.3,32,48,658/- towards the reimbursement dues under Section 12(2) of the Right to Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 ('RTE Act' for short).

According to the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is entitled to reimbursement of fees for the students admitted against the quota of 25% as per the provisions of the RTE Act. Learned Counsel for the petitioner states that the aforesaid amount is due and payable from the academic year 2019-2020, till date.

It appears that pursuant to the representation made by the petitioner for reimbursement, part payment of Rs.53,29,554/- has already been made. The petitioner's representation is pending since 2020.

Learned Addl.P.P, on instructions, states that the petitioner will be reimbursed after scrutinizing the representation, as 2/3

expeditiously as possible and in any event within six weeks from the date of receipt of this order. Statement accepted. 5.

In view of the aforesaid, we direct the respondent No.1 to reimburse the petitioner the amount that they are entitled to within the aforesaid period.

Petition is allowed and disposed of on the aforesaid terms. 7.

Stand over to 14th November, 2025. To be listed under the caption 'For Recording Compliance'.
