By this petition, petitioner seeks direction to respondent No. 5 to forward the proposal of the petitioner for correction of name in the shool leaving certificate and school record.

It is the case of the petitioner that his name is in fact "Shaikh Adil Sadek", however, in the school record, mark sheets and in 10th mark sheet his name is mentioned as 'Shaikh Adil Sadeqve'. In 12th mark sheet his name is mentioned as 'Shaikh Mohammad Adil Saeed Mohd Sadique' and in sixth semester mark sheet it is mentioned as 'Shaikh Moohmmad Adil Sahed'.

Petitioner, therefore, approached respondent No. 5 by way of representation dated 11.07.2025. Copy of which is also marked to respondent No. 2. However, respondent No. 5 has not forwarded proposal of the petitioner.

Heard learned advocates for the respective parties and learned AGP for the State. Perused the reply filed by learned AGP. Though, served, none appears for respondents No. 5 to 8. 5.
In the light of above, writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent No. 5 to forward the proposal of the petitioner for correction of his name in the school record to respondent No. 2 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6.
Respondents No. 2 and 3 shall verify the claim of the petitioner and after hearing the petitioner shall pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of proposal of the petitioner.
