At the outset, learned Counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to amend to implead the State of Maharashtra as party respondent No.2. Leave granted. Amendment to be carried out forthwith, during the course of the day.

By this petition, the petition essentially seeks a direction to the respondent No.1 i.e. the District Consumer Redressal Commission to expeditiously dispose of the proceeding bearing No. DC/ABA/482/CC/112/2021 earlier (CC/112/21), as expeditiously as possible, and preferably within three months from the date of order. 4.
Learned Counsel for the petitioner states that the respondent No.1 filed written submissions in September, 2023 with permission to advance oral arguments. He states that thereafter the matter was adjourned from time to time. He states that the proceeding in question is pending since 2021. 5.
Considering the aforesaid, we deem it appropriate to request the District Consumer Redressal Commission, to decide the proceeding bearing No. DC/ABA/482/CC/112/2021 earlier (CC/112/21), within three months from the date of receipt of this order.

With the aforesaid directions, the petition stands disposed of.
