DATE : 03rd OCTOBER 2025 ORDER:
1.
In all these matters the prayers are almost same. Earlier also in Writ Petition No.11744/2025 with companion matters, this Court had passed an order on 22nd September 2025, based upon the order passed in Special Leave Petition (Civil) No.19756/2021 ; Rahul Ramesh Wagh Vs. State of Maharashtra and Others, that various writ petitions have been filed before different benches of the High Court of Judicature at Bombay, questioning the delimitation exercise on reservation of wards etc. Liberty was given to the State of Maharashtra or State Election Commission to seek clubbing of these petitions before one Bench and for that purpose they were given liberty to approach Hon'ble the Chief Justice of this Court.
3 950,953,3,5.WP.12183.25.odt 2.
On 22nd September 2025, learned Government Pleader made statement that appropriate steps would be taken on the administrative side for clubbing of the petitions and, therefore, we called upon the learned AGP. Learned Additional Government Pleader Mr. Kale submits that after getting instructions from Government Pleader, Mumbai, that he would move the Hon'ble the Chief Justice today itself for clubbing the matters. Even the standing counsel for the State Election Commission who is appearing through video conferencing gives a nod for seeking clubbing of the matters by moving Hon'ble the Chief Justice of this Court. 3.
In view of these statements, place the matters 'High on Board' on 06.10.2025, to make statement on behalf of either the State Government or State Election Commission.
