Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

A limited grievance in the Petition is that, the appeal preferred by the Petitioner, senior citizen, under Section 16 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 against an order passed by the Maintenance Tribunal is not being expeditiously heard. 3.

The Appellate Tribunal is requested to hear and decide the appeal as expeditiously as possible and, preferably, within a period of six months from the date scheduled for the appearance of the Petitioner before the Appellate Tribunal.

The Petitioner shall appear before the Appellate Tribunal on 29 September 2025.

The Writ Petition stands disposed.
