The Petitioner claims to be a social worker as well as an agriculturist and a body Member of the APMC. He has filed a complaint on 2.7.2025, invoking Section 41 A of the Maharashtra Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Act, 1963 before the Director of Agricultural Marketing, State of Maharashtra. The same is still pending. Notices are yet not issued.

The learned AGP submits that Respondent No. 2 would Talwalkar
933.WP12246.2025.odt decide the complaint by following the due procedure laid down in law within such time as this Court may direct.

In view of the above, this Petition is disposed off with a direction to Respondent No. 2, to follow due procedure laid down in law and deal with the complaint filed by the Petitioner, by granting a reasonable opportunity of representation to the stakeholders connected with the cause of action raised in the Petition. A reasoned order be passed, on or before 31st December, 2025.

We make it clear that we have not gone into the locus of the present Petitioner in filing this Petition. This issue is left open and if any stakeholder raises this issue before Respondent No. 2, the same would be dealt with in accordance with law.
