The challenge in this Writ Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is to the legality and validity of the interim order dated 14th May 2024 passed by the Additional Divisional Commissioner, Nashik Division, Nashik in Revision Application No. 122 of 2025 filed under Section 44 of the Maharashtra Rent Control Act, 1999.

By the impugned order the Application filed by the Applicant seeking stay has been rejected. In the impugned order it has been observed that the subject premises were given on leave and license Akash Tayde

926-CIVIL WP-12295-2025.DOC basis on 1st October 2020 to 30th September 2023 and as the period was over, stay was not granted. The impugned order is dated 14th May 2024. The Writ Petition is filed on 25th June 2025 i.e. after more than one year. No circulation of the Writ Petition was sought at any time and no interim protection is granted. 3.

Today, none appeared for the Petitioner in the morning session and therefore, the Writ Petition is kept back in the afternoon session. In the afternoon session also none appears. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non prosecution. [MADHAV J. JAMDAR, J.] Akash Tayde
