The petitioner filed an application before the Registrar for conducting inquiry under Section 89A of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act, 1960. Accordingly, inquiry was conducted. The applicant is aggrieved by the conduct of inquiry for period 2022-2023. According to him, the inquiry should have been conducted for earlier period also.

For that purpose, the remedy for the petitioner was to challenge order of appointment of officer to conduct inquiry. The Revisional Authority has noted in its order that in the inquiry under Section 89, compliance made by the Managing Committee are noted. It is also stated in the order that the petitioner was Managing Committee member for period from 2019 to 2023. 3.

Hence, the writ petition need not be entertained. The same is accordingly dismissed. No costs.
