Heard learned Senior counsel for the petitioner and the learned AGP for the State.

By this Petition, the only substantive relief sought by the Petitioner is a direction to the Respondent No.1 (SDO), 1/2

15.WP-12422-2025 Senior Citizen Tribunal, Collector Office, Bandra, Mumbai to decide Application No. SR 8 of 2025 pending before the Senior Citizen Tribunal, Bandra, Mumbai, within four weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

The Petitioner is a senior citizen aged 74 years. It appears that she is presently residing in Australia and would like to come to India for her medical treatment and as such wants the application filed by her before the Senior Citizens Tribunal to be decided expeditiously.

Considering the aforesaid, we allow the petition and direct the Respondent No.1 - SDO to dispose of the petitioner's application No.SR 8 of 2025 as expeditiously as possible and in any event within 3 weeks from the date of receipt of this order. 5.

Petition is allowed and disposed of on the aforesaid terms.

All the concerned parties to act on the authenticated copy of this order.
