Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

The challenge in this Petition is to an order dated 17 June 2025, passed by the District Supply Officer, whereby the licence to run a fair price shop granted to the Petitioner has been cancelled. 3.

The Petitioner has a statutory remedy of appeal against the impugned order. Thus, when the Court expressed its disinclination to entertain the Writ Petition, the learned Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that, the Petitioner has received a communication yesterday intimating that, steps would be taken to cancel the registration and collect E-POS machine and the unsold grains in the shop of the Petitioner.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner therefore prayed that, the Petitioner be protected till the Petitioner approaches the Appellate Authority. SSP 1/2

The communication received by the Petitioner is taken on record and marked 'X'.

Having regard to the communication received yesterday, the Writ Petition stands disposed with liberty to the Petitioner to approach the Appellate Authority within a period of two weeks. 7.
