The issue raised by the Petitioners is that while considering their eligibility for transfer, their earlier services with the Vasti Shalas in remote and tribal areas should also be added to their tenures from the dates they were absorbed by the Zilla Parishad as Primary School Teachers.

These Petitioners have not approached the CEO of the Zilla Parishad for the redressal of their grievance or even for the purpose of consideration of their grievance.

In view of the above, we are not inclined to entertain this petition. The Petitioners have been transferred to the areas which are around 100 kms. They shall join the place of transfer and start imparting education to the students.

They are at liberty to make their representations to the CEO. Needless to state, the CEO will have to take guidance from the State Government in such matters as it involves a policy decision. In the event the Petitioners are held to have a right to continue at the present location, their cases would be considered for relocation after the end of academic year 2025-2026, in the month of April-May 2026. 5.
