In this Writ Petition, the primary grievance expressed by the Petitioners is on account of delay in disposal of the Appeal preferred under Section 152 of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960 (hereinafter referred to as, "the Act of 1960", for short) before the Departmental Minister (Minister of Co - operation, Mantralaya, Mumbai) against the report dated 6th February, 2025. Mr. Mayur Khandeparkar, learned counsel appearing for the Petitioners submits that being aggrieved by the report dated 6th February, 2025, the Petitioners have preferred a statutory Appeal under Section 152 of the Act of 1960 along with Digitally signed by RAJESHRI PRAKASH AHER Date:

The learned counsel submits that if the demand notice is implemented during the pendency of the Statutory Appeal then in that case, the same would not only rendered the Appeal infructuous, but also cause serious prejudice to the interest of his client. Hence, a direction has been sought from this Court.

Mrs. T. N. Bhatia, learned AGP appearing for the Respondent-State submits on instructions that within four months from today, the statutory Appeal preferred by the Petitioners shall be disposed of by reasoned order. The Petitioners are also agreeable to the same. If that be so, nothing further survives for adjudication in the Writ Petition.

The Appeal preferred by the Petitioners be disposed of within four months from the date of this order. Till such time, the Appeal is disposed of by a reasoned order, the implementation/execution of the demand notice dated 10th July, 2025, shall be kept in abeyance.

Writ Petition stands disposed of.
