This matter although disposed of vide order 22nd December 2025, has been listed today for recording compliance of the said order.

Para 5 of the order dated 22nd December 2025, reads thus:- 1/3

"5.

Ms. Amrita Sagar has appeared before us through video conferencing. She states that the recommendation to remove the name of the petitioner from the list of Willful Defaulters was forwarded by them to the Willful Defaulters Cell on 7th August 2025 and that the concerned Committee would be taking an appropriate decision by the end of this month. Statement accepted. She further states that the Bank had acted in good faith and had, therefore, recommended removal of the petitioner's name from the list of Willful Defaulters."

Despite the order having been passed on 22nd December 2025, it appears that the Committee has not been constituted nor convened, till date.

Today, learned counsel for the respondent No.1-Bank of Maharashtra has tendered an affidavit of Mr. Amit Chandan, Assistant General Manger and Deputy Zonal Manager, Pune East Zone and Authorized Signatory of Bank of Maharashtra, dated 6th January 2026. The said affidavit is taken on record. 5.

In the said affidavit in para 4 it is stated that the meeting will be convened by February 2026.

Considering what is stated in para 4 of the said affidavit, we deem it appropriate to direct the Committee to take an appropriate decision on or before 15th February 2026. 7.

Learned counsel for the respondent No.1-Bank of Maharashtra to forthwith communicate the aforesaid order to the concerned Authority, so as to enable them to comply with the same. 8.

In view of the aforesaid, no further orders.

All concerned to act on the authenticated copy of this order.
