At the outset, learned Counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to amend the prayer clause (b). Leave granted. Amendment to be carried out forthwith, during the course of the day. 2.
By this petition, the petitioner, essentially seeks a direction 1/3
to the respondent No.1 - Reserve Bank of India, to decide the petitioner's Representation dated 12th February, 2025 to the respondent No.1 - RBI, within a reasonable time. The said representation is at 'Exhibit-C' at page 20 of the petition. 3.
Since this is the only relief sought by the petitioner, we do not deem it necessary to issue notice to the respondent No.1 - RBI considering the order that we intend to pass. 4.
The Representation was made to the respondent No.1 - RBI by the petitioner on 12th February, 2025. Considering that the said Representation is pending since February, 2025, we request the respondent No.1 - RBI, to take an appropriate decision on the petitioner's Representation dated 12th February, 2025, if not taken, within eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order. 5.
In view of the aforesaid directions, nothing survives for further consideration in the aforesaid petition. 2/3

Petition stands disposed of accordingly.

We make it clear that we have not gone into the merits of the representation made by the petitioner and as such, respondent No.1 - RBI to decide the said representation, on its own merits, in accordance with law.
