By this Writ Petition, the petitioners are seeking direction to the respondent/ Sub Divisional Officer, Nandurbar to issue tribe certificates to the petitioners of belong to " Thakur" Scheduled Tribe, pursuant to their applications dated 27.05.2024 & 28.05.2024 respectively.

The learned A.G.P. relying on affidavit-in-reply submits that, the proceedings, which the petitioners are claiming to have been filed, are not available on the portal of the Sub Divisional Officer, Nandurbar, and therefore, it cannot be ascertained whether, the applications by the petitioner, are in fact filed or not.

Be that as it may, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that, the petitioners would again file the fresh applications seeking tribe certificates and if such an applications are made, the Sub Divisional Officer, Nandurbar be directed to decide the said applications within a period of four weeks thereafter. 5.
Considering the same, we permit the petitioners to make an applications afresh for obtaining tribe certificates of belonging to "Thakur" Scheduled Tribe with the respondent/ Sub Divisional Officer, Nandurbar. In turn, if such applications are filed, the Sub Divisional Officer, Nandurbar shall decide the said applications within a period of four weeks thereafter, in accordance with law and on its own merits. 6.
