The Petitioner, who was appointed as Principal of Kasturbai College of Education, Solapur on 1st November 2010 and has since superannuated as a Director of Board of Examinations and Evaluation from Respondent No.6-University, has approached before this Court with a grievance that though he rendered services with full devotion and achieved the highest post in the Department, till date he is deprived from the pensionary beneits.

The Petitioner has pointed out that there are series of representations made by the Petitioner to the authorities to redress his grievance but no one is taking cognizance of his grievance. Patil-SR 1 of

The Petitioner pointed out the representation dated 21st August 2025, which is made to the Registrar of Solapur University. From the perusal of this representation, it is clear that Petitioner has substantially raised his grievance by providing details of his service career. As such it is for the University to decide his entitlement for pensionary beneits and forward the proposal to the Joint Director of Education. However, for considerable period the same is pending without any decision. 4.

In the circumstances, the Respondent-Solapur University is hereby directed to decide the Petitioner's pending representation dated 21st August 2025 as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
