By this Petition, the Petitioner seeks a direction to Respondent No. 5, the Education Officer, to decide the proposal submitted by Respondent No. 6, the Educational Institution, and the Head Master of Respondent No. 7, the Secondary School, for individual approval of the Petitioner's appointment to the post of Peon at Respondent No. 7-Secondary School. 2.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the proposal has not yet been decided by the Education Officer.

Considering the nature of the prayers made in the Petition, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition with a direction to Respondent No. 5 to decide the proposal for the Petitioner's appointment on its own merits within a period of eight weeks from today. If any deficiencies are noted by the Education Officer, an opportunity of hearing shall be granted to the Petitioner and the Management.
