We have heard the learned Advocates for the respective sides for some time.

We are informed that the Municipal Corporation has issued the impugned stop work notice to the Petitioners after an RTI activist/journalist raised an objection. It is conceded that a notice of hearing was not issued to the Petitioners. The learned Advocate for the Municipal Corporation submits that a hearing is being conducted by way of an inquiry and that a decision would be pronounced within two weeks from today. Trupti ...1

The learned Advocate for the Petitioners submits that the Petitioners have suffered financial losses due to the impugned notice and that they would raise this issue during the hearing to seek compensation if it is eventually proved that the stop work notice was issued unjustifiably. 4.
