By this Writ Petition, the petitioner is seeking direction to the respondent No.2/Caste Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner expeditiously. The petitioner contends that though the tribe claim of the petitioner is pending before the Caste Scrutiny Committee, in the meanwhile, the employer of the petitioner has issued show-cause notice on 10.10.2025 thereby calling upon the petitioner to submit the tribe validity certificate failing which the service of the petitioner would be brought to an end.

Considering the same, we direct the respondent No.2/Caste Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner within a period of six months from today.

Till the tribe claim of the petitioner is decided, the employer/s of the petitioner shall not take any coercive action against the petitioner. 5.

The petitioner shall extend full co-operation in deciding the tribe claim.

Needless to state that, the protection granted by this Court will be in operation only till the tribe claim of the petitioner is decided and he would not claim any equities.
