In fact this is second round of litigation, that the petitioner is required to approach this Court seeking direction to the respondent/Caste Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner of belonging to Mannervarlu Scheduled Tribe. On the earlier occasion this Court in Writ Petition No.3314 of 2025 by an order dated 13.03.2025 had directed the Caste Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner. However, till today the Caste Scrutiny Committee has not decided the tribe claim.

In the meanwhile, the petitioner has been served with showcause notice dated 14.10.2025 calling upon the petitioner to submit the caste validity certificate failing which the service of the petitioner would be brought to an end.

Considering the above, we direct the respondent/Caste Scrutiny
2 986.doc Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner within a period of six months from today.

Till the tribe claim of the petitioner is decided, the employer/s of the petitioner shall not take any coercive action against the petitioner. 5.
We make it clear that petitioner shall extend full co-operation for deciding the tribe claim of the petitioner.

The protection granted by this Court will operate only till the tribe claim of the petitioner is decided and he would not claim any equities.
