At the outset, learned counsel for the Petitioner seeks leave to amend to correct the age of the Petitioner and to add J.J. Hospital, Mumbai as party Respondent No.5. Leave granted. Amendment to be carried out forthwith during the course of the day.

By this Petition, the Petitioner aged 15 years and 8 months, a victim of sexual assault seeks termination of her pregnancy which is of 27.4 weeks.

We are informed that the Petitioner is presently admitted in Satabdi Hospital at Kandivali.

Accordingly we direct, Respondent No.5- J.J. Hospital, Mumbai, to forthwith constitute a Medical Board, in terms of the Medical Termination of Pregnancy(Amendment) Act, 2021 read with the Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act, 1971 for examining the Petitioner.

The Petitioner to get herself admitted in Sir J.J. Group of Hospital, Mumbai, tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. to enable the Medical Board constituted by the Respondent No.5- J.J. Hospital, Mumbai to examine the Petitioner. The Medical Board to submit its report to this Court by Wednesday, 8th October, 2025, by 3:00 p.m.

Learned AGP to forthwith communicate the aforesaid order passed today to the Respondent No.5 - J.J. Hospital, Mumbai to enable them to constitute a Medical Board for examining the Petitioner.
