DATED:

PC:- 1.
The main relief in this Writ Petition, as sought by the Petitioner is for issuance of direction upon the Respondent No.1 i.e. the Revisional Authority to register the Revision Application preferred by the Petitioner assailing the order dated 14th May, 2025 alongwith Interim Application for stay. It has also been prayed that until such time, the exercise is completed, no further action should be initiated against the Petitioner. However, it is not in dispute that the Petitioner has a statutory remedy in this matter and it is only on account of non-deposit of 50% of the amount, as prescribed by the statute, that the Revision Application has not been registered. From the submissions made at the Bar, it is clear that the core controversy raised by the Petitioner is pertaining to the amount of statutory deposit. According to the Petitioner, it would be Rs.6,00,000/- (Six lakhs), whereas the learned counsel for the Respondent No.4 has projected that it should be Rs.9,00,000/- (Nine lakhs).
3.
Ms. D.S. Deshmukh, learned AGP appearing for the State has made submissions that the Petitioner must avail the statutory remedy.
4.
Since statutory remedy is available to the Petitioner, we are not inclined to entertain the Writ Petition. The Petitioner to make statutory deposit which would be without prejudice to his rights and contentions in the matter. It would be open for the Petitioner to urge before the learned Revisional Authority, as to the correct amount of statutory deposit which is applicable in this case. We make it clear that the registration of the Revision Application would be subject to making the statutory deposit and subject to filing proper Application for condonation of delay, if any. 5.
With the above observations, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
