In compliance with our order dated 17th February, 2026, Respondent No. 5 has submitted an affidavit stating that the amount of compensation awarded to the Petitioners pursuant to the acquisition of land, along with the interest payable under Section 80 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 [hereinafter referred to as Act of 2013], which has accrued on the compensation amount, has been determined. Respondent No. 5 has also submitted a Cheque for Rs. 53,80,041/- in the name of "The Registrar, High Court of Bombay, Bench at Aurangabad," dated 09.03.2026.

We direct the Registry to accept this Cheque, and we further permit the Petitioners to withdraw the said amount under protest. 2.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioners submits that he disputes the calculation and determination of the amount submitted by Respondent No. 5 before this Court and, therefore, states that the Petitioners will approach the Competent Authority under Section 64 of the Act of 2013 and raise a Reference in accordance with law. 3.

The right of the Petitioners to approach the Competent Authority under Section 64 is to be determined by the Reference Court in accordance with law.

In view of the above observations, we consider that the order dated 17th February, 2026, passed by this Court has been complied with.
