The Appeal preferred by the Petitioner before the Appellate Authority on 3rd October 2025, pursuant to the order of disqualification dated 22nd September, 2025 passed by the Competent Authority under Section 39(1) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayant Act, 1959, is pending. Elections have already been held to the post of 'Sarpanch' of Devar Pada Gram Panchayat. The learned Advocate for the Petitioner prays that the hearing in the pending Appeal may be expedited. 3.
In view of the above, we direct that the Appellate Authority would follow the due procedure laid down in law and decide the pending Appeal on its own merits, on or before 31st December, 2025. 4.
All contentions of the parties are kept open. 5.
With the above directions, on the request of the Petitioner, this Petition is disposed off.

The Interim Application would not survive and stands disposed off.
