Learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner has sought for extension of time to comply with order dated 24 November 2025 which had allowed the amendment sought for by the Petitioner. This Court had vide the said order directed that in view of the proposed amendment being quite large, a freshly typed copy of the amended memo of the Petition shall be filed within three weeks from the date of the said order and an amended copy of the Petition be served on the Respondents.

The extension of time as prayed for by the Petitioner is granted. The Petitioner shall comply with the aforementioned direction of this Court within a period of one week from today.

The learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner has submitted that though the Non-Creamy Layer Certificate was to be verified at the scrutiny center on or before 5 September 2025, which date was extended till 8 September 2025 up to 5:00 PM, the Petitioner did not have the same verified and as per the instructions of the CET Cell the admission to the college stood automatically cancelled. He has submitted that there are instances where students have not complied with these instructions and in spite of such non-compliance, the CET Cell has allowed the Non-Creamy Layer certificate to be scrutinized at a later date. 4.

At this stage, learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner states that she has under the Right to Information Act (RTI), sought information regarding students who have been allowed scrutiny of the Non-Creamy Layer certificate at a later date than that provided in the instructions of the CET Cell. The said information has not been provided by Respondent No. 2. 5.

Accordingly, the learned counsel appearing for Respondent No. 2 shall take instructions and if that is the case, provide necessary details/documents to the Petitioner to enable her to file an appropriate affidavit. The said information shall be provided within a period of one week from today. The Petitioner shall file their affidavit within a period of 2/3
