The Writ Petition had been stood over today for the learned AGP appearing for the Respondent - State to take instructions with regard to taking decision on the representation of the Petitioners' proposal dated 24th May, 2021.

The learned AGP appearing for the Respondent - State has taken instructions and he states that the proposal of the Petitioners dated 24th May, 2021 will be decided within a period of 8 weeks from today. The statement is accepted.

In view of the above, the Respondents shall maintain status quo in so far as the services of the Petitioners in the Respondent No. 2 - The State Human Rights Commission, Maharashtra State is concerned till the decision is taken by the Respondent - State on the proposal of the Petitioners dated 24th May, 2021 and one week thereafter.
