Present petition has been filed to direct the respondents to complete the pension formalities regarding the grant of pension to the petitioners. Interest has also been demanded. [1]

Learned AGP waives notice for respondent Nos.1 to 4 and upon instructions, submits that the proposal for grant of pension to petitioner No.1 is still pending with the respondent authorities and if there is compliance of the documents, then further step would be taken and if there is any deficiency, then the same would be returned. This entire exercise would be undertaken within the period directed by this Court. As regards petitioner No.2 is concerned, it is stated that due to over age, his proposal has been returned to the employer. Petitioner No.2 may request his employer to resubmit the proposal to the respondent authorities and if such resubmitted proposal reaches the respondents, then they should consider the decision in Satish Sambhaji Bhosale and others Vs. State of Maharashtra and others, [Writ Petition No.7939 of 2022 decided by this Court at Principal Seat on 06.10.2022]. 3.

Taking into consideration this statement, which is taken as undertaking, we dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondents to consider the proposals on its own merits within a period of one month from today.
