The petitioners challenge the award passed by the Labour Court, whereby references were answered in the negative. In all these petitions, on various dates, this Court had granted adjournment. It was noted that despite the petitions being called out for hearing and on some dates being called out even twice, there was no appearance on behalf of the petitioners.

In this backdrop, by orders passed on various dates earlier, all these petitions were directed to be listed today under the caption 'for dismissal'.

Even today when the petitions are called out for hearing, there is no appearance on behalf of the petitioners.
