1) The matter was circulated before the Vacation Bench (Corum : Advait M. Sethna, J.) on 23rd October 2025 by the Petitioner for the reliefs enumerated in detail in the Petition.

2) This Court on 24th October 2025, (Corum : Advait M. Sethna, J.) had directed the Dean, Sir JJ Group of Hospitals, Mumbai, to constitute a Medical Board in terms of Section 3 of the Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act, 1971.

1.WP 14128-2025.doc 3) The Medical Board was accordingly constituted and the Petitioner appeared before the Medical Board. The Medical Board so constituted, has submitted a report in a sealed envelope, which is produced before me today. 4) I have perused the Report. I have heard Mr. Aditya Deolekar, learned A.G.P. appearing for the Respondent-State.

5) The matter was specifically fixed today, to be heard, in the Chamber at 11.00 a.m. Inspite of the fact that the matter was specifically kept on 29th October 2025, none appeared for the Petitioner, when the matter was called out.

6) Taking into consideration the gravity of the matter, I deem it appropriate to give one more chance to the Petitioner. Hence, stand over to 30th October 2025.
